[See Full Mobile County EMA Updates](https://mobilecountyema.gov/) # Service Operations ## Thursday 10/8/26: Normal Service ✅ - Transit services will operate as normal. - Residents can use the Second Line Transit application to find a ride. ## Friday 10/9/26: Reduced and Modified Operations 🚧 - All services (fixed-route, paratransit, and microtransit) will run normally from 5:00 – 9:00 AM. - **After 9 AM, Second Line Transit will cease all regular service until Monday October 12, 2026 at 5 AM.** ### ***Evacuation Assistance ⚠️*** Second Line transit will be assisting with transporting passengers to the designated meeting point for mass care shelter evacuations at Bel Air Mall. All passengers seeking a ride to a mass care shelter should arrive at the Bel Air Mall by 9:30 AM. **No services to mass care shelters will be provided after 9:30 AM.** From Bel Air Mall, all buses will be separated into two or three groups going to each shelter. Buses begin pulling out at 9:30 AM. **Shelter Travel Requirements:** - **Riders traveling to mass care shelters must have a valid form of ID.** - **Riders traveling to medical needs shelters must have a valid ID, their medical equipment, medications, and a caregiver. Individuals without a caregiver will not be admitted to the shelter.** ## Saturday 10/10/26: No Service ❌ Services will not operate on Saturday, October 10th. ## Sunday 10/11/26: No Service ❌ Services will not operate on Sunday, October 11th.
